Commercial Property Fire, Sydney Eastern Suburbs
This was a major job that required demolition & waste removal, restoration & cleaning of surviving building and content components and significant building rectification works.
Riverwall Constructions installed temporary fencing to protect both public and the property from further damage. We then proceeded to repair and test all plumbing, electrical and air-conditioning services. We repaired and replaced flooring and installed new security doors.
Riverwall salvaged a good deal of the fitting and materials before repairing the roof & ceiling frame, wall frames, skirtings and door sets.
Major landslide
A challenging job from many aspects, not least access, slope and extent of damage. A landslide resulted in the back half of a prestige home in Sydney’s southern suburbs being completely destroyed.
Riverwall had to firstly protect properties further down the slope from being damaged before shoring up the remainder of the existing property. Multiple cranes had to be used to carry equipment whilst the teams involved worked carefully and delicately to reinstate the damaged portion of the property.
House Fire
Essentially a complete rebuild following a major house fire in Sydney’s eastern suburbs resulting in most of the premises being completely destroyed. Demolition was required and some salvage was achieved.
The work involved required new concrete slabs and footings, substantial brickwork, construction of the first storey including new terra cotta tiled roof, new kitchen and bathrooms including all tiling and fittings, installation of new plumbing and electrical work including air conditioning. Further internal work included plastering and construction of ornate ceilings, carpets, floorboards and waterproofing. Externally, once the brickwork was complete the property was rendered and a new back deck was built.
Storm Water Damage
The property was situated on the northern beaches of Sydney on sloping land with significant soil erosion. Riverwall was required to secure the property to repair the current damage but also avoid future damage which could be catastrophic.
Riverwall excavated and compacted the soil before installing new drainage and retaining walls. A new path was constructed as was a new garage with top deck
